Simple-Set and Steel-Set Pools

Yes! The Liquid Solar Blanket acts just like a conventional solar blanket. It reduces the amount of evaporation and heat loss from the pool. This and similar products are compatible with all Simple Set Pools.
Yes, all Simple Set ladders conform the ANSI guidelines. For more information, you may visit the website at www.ansi.org.
Yes, the Simple Set pool covers are manufactured with holes in order to prevent too much rainwater from pooling on top. NOTE: The holes are smaller than the size of a dime.
We do manufacture solar covers as an accessory. A solar cover can provide a safe and economical way to warm your pool anywhere from a few to several degrees depending on the availability of direct sunlight exposure in your yard. Please check with the retailer from whom you purchased your pool for availability.
Filter pumps, covers, ground cloths, ladders, maintenance kits, chlorinators and thermometers are among the accessories currently available for purchase. You can visit online merchants such as www.etoys.com ; www.nextpower.com ; and www.qualityinflatables.com for a wide selection of genuine Simple-Set accessories.
Yes, make sure that the surrounding surface area is very dry and apply a standard patch kit for heavy-duty vinyl. Place the patch on the inside of the pool so as to use the pool's own water pressure to hold the patch in place.
To determine where your pool is leaking air or water, we recommend that you apply a soapy sponge to the area you suspect the leak is located. Look for telltale bubbles to appear at the location of the leak, and be sure to check along the collar and the seams of the product. Once you have found the leak, thoroughly dry the area and apply a patch from the repair kit enclosed with your pool.
Yes, over time too much direct exposure to UV rays can slightly degrade any vinyl based product. To lessen the long term risk to your pool, you should cover your pool when it is not in use.
Yes, all Simple-Set pools and related accessories (except the filter-pump) carry a warranty of six months from the date of purchase. The filter-pump and its related hardware carry a warranty of 1 year from the date of purchase. Please be aware that all warranties are valid only for the original owner and require the submission of an original sales receipt. Therefore, please keep your sales receipt in a safe and accessible place.
We do not recommend using sand because it is granular and thus has a tendency to shift under the weight of the pool water. This will cause instability and could in rare instances even cause the pool to collapse. Aqua Leisure cannot and will not be held for any damage to pools due to the use of sand in the set-up process.
No, unless the water level is below the point of the leak. The surface to be patched must be completely dry in order for the patch to be applied.
No, the vacuum is not designed to remove tiny granular particles. In order to prevent excessive sand or dirt from entering the pool, you should keep a water basin or bucket by the ladder in order for occupants to rinse dirt off their feet/bodies before swimming.
It is always best to fill up with a garden hose under low pressure and smooth out any wrinkles in the liner after filling the pool with an inch of water. If necessary to use a delivery service, first fill the pool with one inch of water using a garden hose and smooth out any wrinkles before adding water from delivery. Be sure to use a delivery service that is able to regulate water pressure to a very low level to prevent any possible seam/liner damage. Aqua Leisure cannot and will not be held responsible for damage to pools filled by water delivery services.
The pump cord is about 25 feet long. We strongly discourage the use of an extension cord for safety reasons ( shock hazard, tripping etc.). If you are a homeowner and plan to use the pool for multiple seasons, then we would recommend having an electrician run a GFCI extension underground from your house and have a weather protected outlet box surface near your chosen set-up site.
NO! Under no circumstances should anybody jump or dive into the pool. No Simple-Set pools are deep enough to accommodate such activity, and serious injury or even death can result from failure to follow this rule.
No. Do not allow any pool occupants (even small children) to lean over, lie down on or sit on top of the pool?s inflatable ring. This can cause instability in the pool wall or cause water to flood over the side of the pool. Furthermore, make sure that pets are kept away from the pool and ring.
You should ALWAYS have standard safety equipment on hand, either in the immediate pool area or nearby. Recommended items include (but are not limited to): An approved ring buoy with reinforced rope, a standard first aid kit, a blunt ended, metal or hard plastic rescue pole.
No! Dogs, cats, and all other household pets should be kept away from the pool and the area surrounding the pool at all times. This is both to protect the safety of your pet (they can become trapped inside the pool) and to prevent structural damage to your pool (i.e. no risk of punctures in sidewalls and inflatable ring from pet claws and teeth).
Yes, the weight limit is 300 pounds. Also, for safety reasons, we recommend that only one person use the ladder at a time, and that each swimmer ascends the ladder slowly and attentively.
Yes! If you live in an area where the pool will not be in use year-round, you should store the pool as soon as your swimming season ends, and well in advance of sustained cold or inclement weather. It is not advisable to leave the pool exposed to prolonged temperatures of 38? F (3?C) or below, as this can permanently damage the material in your pool. Pools should be stored indoors in a dry, well heated, well ventilated location. Also, please do not fold your pool too compactly, as the resulting sharp corners of each fold may cause permanent creases or cracks to in the vinyl sidewalls.
